East Ocean Buffet

Clean facility, the hosts were pleasant and the food was great. Went there on a Sunday at about 2pm $22.95 i believe was the charge per person, place was not crowded so one would expect the seafood to be refilled with ease. They didnt put out the crablegs n lobster till we left there 2hrs Of dining. But over all hot, tasty, clean meals.

I have come to this restaurant on several occasions and usually with someone. Today I came all by myself and was caught off guard by how crowded it was. The United Chinese Assoc. of Brooklyn was having a celebration. So that being said seating did seem to be a bit of a balancing act for the hostess. I was seated at a four person table with only three chairs. As I began consuming my fair share of hot buffet items and soup offerings, the seating became a bit of an issue I felt. So much so I offered to share my table to accommodate a group of monks. However they were seated, albeit apart three at one table and four at another. Then I finally surrendered my table to a family so that they had enough room to enjoy their meal. Does this sound like a bit too much, yes it does but in the realm of all the chaos of life it was a trivial matter. Why post it if that's the case you are asking yourself..to just be able to say that this establishment with its overcrowded atmosphere had an abundant assortment of items that satisfied all patrons..fish, beef, pork, shrimp salad, sushi soup, fresh fruit..and left this reviewer quite fulfilled and appreciated the wait staff who ensured my needs were met with a smile. Take the time to see for yourself and Hearty appetite!

Nice Buffet, I like the decorations is bunch of turtles little lake or Island welcoming. Food is delicious lots of choice. Always arrived to more fresh food or fruits . Food is good depending on how you like your seafood to be cooked. There is cocktail food, just make sure to clean your shrimp as you eat them. Ribs are great. Fruits are fresh, just not a lot of options to choose from. There should be pineapple, grapes and others that will go great with the cocktail food served. It’s better when it’s not winter because the food gets cold as soon as you on the table. But further than that I give a 3.5 star to the place.

Customer service is so poor, as soon as we came to this restaurant they rush us out. We had 30 mins to eat. The tip is mandatory and you pay it even though the service is bad, and you pay it upfront. I give it 1 start coz food is okay.

Working personal is not friendly. Asked for the glass of water and got dirty and a little smelly water. Probably the cup wasn’t clean. Other than that the selection of food is okay for the decent price

Very clean buffet compared to other ones in the area. Definitely to before 4 to get the morning price, the lunch price is definitely not worth it. Bathrooms are clean, inside is very large and spacious. Ice cream machine is a big plus. Don’t listen to other reviews talking about how the place is dirty and the food is bad, it really isn’t at all. Those people just expect Gordon Ramsey food quality at a fast food buffet, bunch of entitled yelp reviewing sissies.

We went there yesterday Sunday around 6 with family and were very disappointed. Some of the sushi fish was not fresh and tasted fishy. The rice on the sushi was often dried out. The variety of food was limited and often dried out as well. The eat-at-your-own-risk sign above the oysters was not reassuring. The soup station was broken. The desserts looked so unappetizing no one touched them aside from the machine ice cream which was decent The food in total was not very tasty and certainly not worth the 22.95 we paid per person. We will not come back again.

I come first time food is not fresh like old and cold I don’t like!
