Wonderful atmosphere and beautiful scenery at the pier.
Nice quiet place, pier is open sunrise to sunset. The rec center has bathroom facilities,plenty of shade from the sun.
There is a small Sandy Beach on the backside for launching kayaks but it is a very long walk from the parking lot
I love this park! So peaceful and has a nice view and easy kayak access. I've kayak a couple times from here the water is pretty calm.

While it may not have the best amenities, the people are great! Like being in a small town in the city. Great ppl. Indoor gym, outside soccer fields, area for fishing and kayaking. Great playground too!
Good location to catch fish and crabs! It is a park for little ones that don't care for hanging out on the pier! A couple of picnic tables and grills out their families that want to cookout!

Good fishing spot.
This is a wonderful Recreation Center in a natural setting. You can walk, play exercise. There is a pier that you can both crab and fish from. I am a Master Gardener Volunteer and I help maintain the Children's Community vegetable Garden.
