East Side Pockets

This place has got the greatest grilled chicken and freshest food anywhere I've been to in Providence. The tzatziki sauce is so delicious and satisfying, great as a dip or even a cold soup. The staff is so friendly, warm and efficient its AMAZING, considering how overwhelmingly busy it gets at times. FACTS..... anything you get there is delicious, fresh and reasonably priced.

Best food still my favorite place to eat when traveling to Rhode Island. Have been eating there since 1997. I always stop there when I'm back. Inexpensive high quality delicious food!

Best Gyros and Greek fare around! They give a heaping portion of everything and the staff is excellent. I asked many questions about the meat and other offerings and never did they seem annoyed or bothered to answer, even though they were very, very busy. By far my favorite place for a great, quickly served bite. Also their Baklava is Jammin.

I love east side pockets. There is always a line in the summer. Still busy in the winter. If you like mediteranian food this place has great spices, great food. It's just a sandwich shop but I won't miss a chance to stop by when I go to the providence place mall. It's very close just use GPS. It's on Thayer st. Thayer street is full of little cute shops & dining near Brown University. If you've never been, you should try it sometime.
