Eastland Mall

Play place for kids could be better. Food court is fairly empty. Variety of stores okay for the area although some are closing/closed.

Almost a shadow of what it use to be, eastland mall is still chugging along. As with many of the malls around the country, this one has also had many stores close leaving the mall much quieter than it use to be. What stores still remain are definitely worth checking out. Eastland mall still has a few unique stores with things I've not seen in other places. Clothes, shoes, and jewelry...yup they've got plenty of that to.

So sad to see so many stores closed...glad that Gloria Jean's is still open, LOVE it! And this Bath and Body Works has the most helpful and friendly staff , worth the drive. There are some other stores still open, only 1 restaurant left in the food court.

This place has lost a lot of huge retailers, but it seems to be taking action to prevent closure. Currently remodeling what used to be a JC Penny and other projects like that. The "food court" only has 1 remaining restaurant in it, which I don't really prefer anyways. But the 2 little pretzel joints in other parts of the building are always available and delicious. It's a place to kill time, and it's nostalgic, at least for me, even though it's not even close to what it used to be 10 years ago.

I'm currently sitting in the play area with my 5 children, all 7 and under. There's a store called Custom Junkeez Print Shop nearby. Their window displays samples of their work, and most of it clearly references pot or is sexually explicit. I'm already not in favor of this mall for the continual lack of stores. It's like walking through a graveyard. This completely inappropriate display directly facing the children's play area is the last straw. Do yourself a favor, and find a real mall or shop online. This place has no stores or class.
