Eddie, Allison, and the team at EcoCraft recently completed our bathroom remodel. After a disappointing start with another contractor, EcoCraft stepped in and immediately took charge of the situation. What made EcoCraft stand out was not only their ability to swiftly take over from where things had left off but also their efficiency in handling the project. Given that it was our only bathroom, their prompt and efficient work meant we were back to normal in no time, and the end result looks beautiful.
I've used EcoCraft on two very successful projects and can recommend them highly. The first project was the renovation of an ugly utilitarian basement room into a comfortable TV/entertainment room. The second was structural and aesthetic upgrades to a 90 year old garage. Projects major trades included insulation, carpentry, drywall, electrical, cabinetry, and roofing. Customer service was top notch
My wife and I wanted to convert an upstairs loft area into a third bedroom - a relatively smaller project with many details. We are so happy we went with Eddie and EcoCraft! Of the 8 or so companies we had over for estimate, Eddie proved to be the most friendly and thoughtful right from the start. He has a great eye for detail and provided experienced feedback on many of my ideas. The subcontractors he works with were incredibly accommodating during COVID and did excellent work. Eddie's estimate was on par with our budget, and the final cost was actually a little less! End result is everything we wanted and more. Highly recommended for your home remodel projects!
I bought my home in 2020, not realizing that some of the renovations the previous owners made were not permitted by the city, so I found I was stuck when I tried to move forward and continue finishing the basement. EcoCraft was great because Eddie was able to help me work with the city to bring everything up to code without having to demo everything and start from scratch and that alone was invaluable. The project ended up taking some time simply due to the pandemic, some unfortunate flooding at my house which Eddie helped me fix & prevent in the future, so I ended up getting to know the EcoCraft team fairly well and truly, everyone was great. I was kept in the loop, and everyone was always willing to explain patiently whenever I had questions. The subcontractors who installed the flooring, insulation, and kitchenette were also great. When one of them accidentally crushed a plant outside my house, Eddie made it right. I would absolutely recommend EcoCraft to anyone in the Portland Area.
Our family is so happy with the process and finished project from Eddie at EcoCraft. We highly rate him and his team 10/10. During the planning stage Eddie listened to our dreams and then helped them become a realistic design. During the construction phase we were in close communication and understood where we were in the process. When there was a problem this project was completed in 2020 he would come to us with several possible solutions. When we could not decide on design features he would help guide us to the right choices based on what he learned about our style. When the project was complete we were sad to see the team go, but of course we are extraordinarily happy to be living in our newly renovated space. Our specific project started with an empty concrete basement and finished with 1 bedroom with egress window, 1 bathroom, laundry room, family room, and wet bar. We now have new sewer, new water pipes, new electrical, asbestos mitigation, new framing, drywall, painted walls and ceilings, and a tile and luxury vinyl floor. The project was no small undertaking, it looks beautiful, and it functions perfectly for our needs. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Eddie at EcoCraft.
