First off, you have you pay $5 a day for parking which was not stated anywhere but reviews. Secondly, the room was disgusting. There were excess stains on the top sheet and tons of hair all over the middle sheet. I ended up sleeping with the single thin bed sheet out of disgust. This same hair was all over the bathroom floor. Thirdly, we were greeted at our door at 10:50am 10 minutes before check out by the owner saying "are you checking out?". Never had an encounter where the owner asks if were leaving before checkout. Lastly, the price of the hotel for a night Saturday was outrageous. $160 after tax. It would have been better to just pay an extra $40 to go somewhere else higher quality. I would like to note that the front desk lady was extremely kind and we were given great customer service by her. That being said I would highly recommend staying somewhere else.
No frills motel. Clean, outdated and exactly what I wanted for a one night affordable stay. Service at front was quick, parking on site. Around $130 for a one bed room. Close enough to walk to 4th St and the main areas you’d want to go to. Breakfast was underwhelming with yogurt, bagels, coffee, cereal and a juice machine that needed refilled, but again no frills - You don’t come here for the experience. I would recommend if that is the type of place you are looking for. I would stay again. Felt safe.
We had a great time in Louisville and this hotel is in the perfect location. Front desk staff was so nice and accommodating. The on-site parking was affordable and I was able to park close to my room.Rooms: 4/5
Booked thru a 3rd party site where they assured me I could check in at 3-4am. I made the reservation at 2:15am for the same day. Once arriving at the property, and after prepaying $148 for only 1 night stay, they would not allow us to check in early, although that's the ONLY reason I agreed to pay that high amount. I actually never got to stay in the room whatsoever. But you still refuse to issue me a refund on a room I never actually stayed in. I've called every party involved, the hotel, the 3rd party booking agency and even choice hotel corporate office. Where ever single person I spoke with basically tells me "so what u didn't stay in the room at all, we are gonna keep your $148 anyway". So very unhappy with all parties involved. I assure u, I will NEVER stay at this econo lodge nor a choice hotel ever again. And I will spread the word at how unprofessional and unwilling to work with me when I was only trying to have a place to sleep in an urgent situation at 2-3am. I actually was under the impression I was being charged for 2 nights, one of which was basically almost over. If I had known the real situation, I would have never booked or prepaid at that price. The staff at the facility was rude and unfriendly and very unprofessional, on top of the extremely high price for a hotel that sure is nowhere near worth it. I could have stayed at a high end hotel with prices like that. I do not recommend using this hotel. In my eyes I have been scammed out of $148 and every person I speak with about it just says "sorry for your inconvenience" and each party just points fingers at each other. Upset and irate that I paid for a room I never stepped foot in, much less slept in. I suggest finding a different hotel to give your money to and stay in. Cause if u have any issues, they don't care at all and will not make it right. I would give -1 star review if it was an option. And train your staff to treat customers better. I would still like a refund, but that has proven to be impossible. What a joke.
Loved it here. Located in downtown Louisville, about a half block away from the Omni and the Marriott hotels. You can't beat this Econo Lodge hotel the price was guite affordable. Neat clean rooms. The breakfast was everything you needed except eggs. My niece stayed at the Marriott the same weekend as us and had to pay for their breakfast and also $35.00 to park there. Our breakfast and food was free.
Basic rooms. Fairly clean. Fairly worn in. Excellent location. Can't beat it for the price. Shortest toilet in the world! But you could flush the bedspread with how powerful it is.Rooms: 3/5
Bed was comfy and clean. The shower curtain definitely needed replaced and the bathroom wall had hand prints on it but otherwise was a decent room.Rooms: 3/5
