This was the best Eritrean experience of my life. Without doubt, the best injera I ever had, better yet than in the Asmara restaurant in Rome, considered one of the best in the world. Eden explained that she uses 100% teff flour, which is unusual in the USA. The taste is more intense and the texture more pronounced. I will definitely go back soon.
So delish. Honestly, everything about this place is amazing. We're adding this to our rotation of favorite food spots. If you don't know what to order, just ask the staff. Even if you order something at random, you're guaranteed to get something tasty.
Oct 2022- This place is still a go-to for us. Recently, I tried a new item - the green beans and they were great - a new favorite. everytime we go, the food is good. definitely check it out! spring 2022 - Eden has gradually been giving the place a face-lift and it looks great. She recently got a liquor license and has a small bar. there is indoor and outdoor seating along with 6 or 8 parking spots in the back. the food is great, all home-cooked.
Very Good place. Makes me feel like I'm in Addis. Best Churro ever.Food: 5/5
A lucky, unique find for us! First time having Eritrean cuisine but was intrigued by the good reviews. Vegetarian platter was so good and the owner so nice.
I honestly try to support small businesses but for some reason I don't think some of them understand what customer service is. This is another place I will not be eating at ever again....
Great food and a pleasant, kid friendly outdoor space!
I learned of this unassuming "hole in the wall" yesterday and because of its proximity I gave it a shot… DELICIOUS, fantastic, authentic home-style cooking! The injera was particularly tasty—most are very bland and flavorless compared to Ethiopia. I ordered Shiro, one of my favorite dishes, and it did not disappoint although the serving size was on the stingy side for what I paid for it even with an extra piece of injera. This is the ONLY time I have not only been able to finish my meal in one sitting from an Ethiopian restaurant but I was also still hungry afterwards. I'm hoping it was a fluke! I'm going back this evening for round two. to the ego-maniacal driver: I am confused… What's the problem with the food in that picture?! Give it here & watch it disappear! And how exactly does that photo translate to a failure to understand customer service?
Loved the vegetarian combos. Takeout was warm and fresh with generous injera. Quick service on a Sunday afternoon.
We ordered "to go" & it was a huge amount of food. Super-tasty & good value for the cost. Recommend highly & would be even better eaten at the restaurant when it's all safe. There is an outdoor eating area, also.
