On Halloween, we we were driving through going back to Oklahoma from Iowa and looked up haunted houses along the way. I initially did NOT want to stop anywhere and if we did, I was just going to wait in the car. We got there super early and the area looked like a legit ghost town. Creepy... We bought the tickets online and we were the 3rd group in line so although we waited a coupe hours for it to open, once inside it went fairly quick. I was very impressed with the whole "tour". I usually don't startle easily but with the atmosphere and set up, they got me a couple times. When we came out, the lines were crazy! I'm glad we got there early! Great job to all the actors and team! I enjoyed the scare! The only negative feedback is the port-a-potties. We couldn't use them, they were so full, all of them. With as many people and time in lines, there should be more of them and emptied or changed more frequently.
It has sadly been 10 years since I have visited this haunted house. In order to let groups of people fully experience being alone in a strange and scary place.... They really space groups out so you do have extra waiting. I absolutely love all the decor - think old Victorian. There are various themed rooms to see. There are people and "things" that scare you. NO CELL Phone use while inside for any reason. No pictures or using as a flashlight . Too dark? Feel the walls to guide you. :- It's part of the experience.
Great experience VIP line is worth it if your going to arrive later than the opening. Normal lines are pretty large and can take easily upward of two hours If you don't plan well. The house was a great scare.
We'd pay money not to have to do this again. The scariest part of the entire experience was the lines actually in the haunted house. If you find the magic time to go when no one else is, you might have an incredible time! Great set designs, great actors; terrible experience overall.
I really enjoyed Edge of Hell! The ride was unfortunately shut down for awhile, but they did their best to make the wait as enjoyable as possible! Jumpscares and shows, and my group even made friends with the people behind us. They even apologized again later in the night and handed out free drinks to the line! However what everyone is worried is about is the actual haunted house, and boy is it good! Tons of different rooms, crawlspaces, tight hallways, and fantastic scares! The staff really care about the experience, and you can tell with how much work they put into their character. All in all, it was a fantastic experience that I thoroughly enjoyed!
Had the VIP Treatment and could not be more happy! There was a group of 18 of us and the handled it well split us into two groups to make sure we both had the proper timed out experience. Actors were great, orioles were great, the level of creativity and fun from floor to floor was out of this world! Been to many haunted attractions and this one takes the top 3!
If you enjoy being sardined in tiny hallways with people that won't move forward and people cramming in behind you , you're in the right spot. Our party waited nearly 3 hours to get in, just to be met with a huge line of people going through the haunted house. The props and workers were great but it's just so hard to enjoy when you're too close to others. Definitely not worth the money paid 160 bucks for 2 tickets. World's of Fun haunted houses were a better value. I wanted it to be great and had high hopes, and everyone in our group seemed disappointed by the end. Watch others coming out of the side door exit. Their expressions will tell you all you need to know.
Waited in line 3 hours and had combo tickets that we couldn't use because by time we got through it the beast was closed. No real scares this year. Barely had anyone working. No scary actors working the lines while u waited. So many people inside couldn't get scared because you saw everything coming. Boring! I've been to this before and it was amazing this year was not! Complete waste of money
Didn't even try to get in due to the line and waiting time, but came here for a pice of advice. Either start doing reservations for the haunted house so there isn't a Nile River of a line and there's proper spacing for different parties once inside OR do a better job of displaying and broadcasting the No Tickets VS Already Have Tickets line. Especially if people are from out of town and don't know the area very well. Waited an hour thinking we were in the correct line since we came from the side and the line started from the side of the entrance which was apparently the wrong move?? Absolutely no sign or staff let us know which lines were what except apparently it's in the front of the building. But no one would have a reason to go to the front to look at the sign because THE LINE STARTED FROM THE SIDE. Anyway, I was so excited when we finally reached the entrance, just to have them let us know we have to go in a different line because we already have tickets? How is it logical that people who were not proactive and just showed up have priority over the people that got tickets ahead online and/or bought VIP tickets? This is one of the worst money scams I've ever heard. And I heard if you get in the No Ticket line but have tickets, you can throw away your tickets and buy a new one to get in or you'll have to stand in line on the other side which stretches to different zip code. What??? Absolutely flabbergasted at the "strategy"/management of the entryway and ticketing. 2 stars.
Was not scary, but was fun still. Tried to come last weekend and something broke inside. So this weekend we came and the line was 10 times bigger. The haunted house was cool but towards the end a kid tried to hand a haunted house employee a piece of his costume that fell off and the “16” year old kid tripped into this guys wife and he started grabbing a pushing a minor. My group tried to help him by talking to the staff and the guy got kicked out. Security was super un interested, and the cops didn’t want to deal with it. I feel so bad for that kid.
