Edge of The Woods Market

Love shopping here, coming from Denver this is a haven for things I need. The place does look a old building: just gives it more character. Love the selection and prices that are sometime better than Whole Foods. The people are so friendly and nice. Love the hot bar as well, and the bakery you can’t compare the freshness.

Excellent local vegetarian grocery store. Good prices and selection. Excellent bulk food selection. Great service. If you are vegetarian, don't shop anywhere else. Even if you're not, it's still the best grocery store in New Haven.

Edge of the Woods has been around it seems forever. My Mother introduced me to the store when it was on Edgewood Avenue. The quality of food has always been consistently high. The variety of goods they carry is exceptional. Peter Dodve is the nicest , most personable and caring business owners you will ever meet.

I love this place ever since I was a little girl..when it was on Edgewood ave.. Always feel like I'm at home when I'm there. Great food and very fresh fruits and vegetables.

I love the variety of novelty products they offer. Also the cafeteria has delicious food!
