If I could give these people a negative zero, I would! Today I had the most awful, unprofessional, unpleasant experience ever with a business. I wish I had checked the reviews first! I had had a bad experience a few months ago with another EA location, but I thought it was just that location. I switched locations and this one was even worse! I submitted and paid for an order a week before my event. When I arrived to pick up my order, it was missing half the items. The store clerk told me to give him 30 minutes and he’d have it ready. When I picked it up, it was not only incorrect but it included an expired product. I requested a refund. The manager Sabina asked me to bring the items back and they would submit a refund. When I arrived at the store, she took pictures of the items, took them to the back, and assured me that a refund was due. She then told me she had to call her ‘area manager.’ Twenty minutes later she comes back to the front and tells me to go home and wait on an email explaining my refund. I asked her if she could sign something stating I returned the items and was due a refund as I didn’t trust leaving the products with her and returning home to await an email. She got angry! YELLED at me and stormed in the back! I called corporate, informed them of the situation, and was put on hold to speak with a supervisor. I waited 10-15 minutes to speak with a supervisor only to be told that ‘he’s busy right now, can he call you back’ I asked the rep if I could have the supervisor’s name and number and I would call him back. He told me that he couldn’t give that out. Unbelievable!!! Hopefully, this will help save someone from going through what I, and it appears many others, endured at the hands of these people. I still haven’t received an email regarding my refund.
Absolutely horrible! I ordered a bouquet of chocolate covered strawberries and I paid $15 extra on a balloon bundle of 3 Graduation balloons. When it arrived to the recipient there was only one “congrats” balloon and the strawberries were mushy and spoiled. So they offered to re-deliver the whole order the next day. But when it was received LATE the strawberries were still mushy, there were no balloons included and it was wide open. Disgusting and unsanitary. I was promised a refund and they never processed it. Not to mention I was made to seem delusional about the condition of the fruit and the lack of balloons photos included. These pictures were taken immediately after the bouquets were handed to the recipient. Absolutely unacceptable. Never shop here. Horrible customer service and disgusting fruit and attitudes. When I called to talk to the manager there was an employee in the background yelling about not giving me a refund. Unprofessional! Completely ruined my spouses graduation surprise TWICE! And now I have to escalate it with my bank because the manager Sabrina did not keep her promise of refunding me.
Ordered an arrangement for my grandfather for Father's Day and it was delivered in 100 degree weather without a knock on the door or any kind of notice. It was picked up from outside as soon as I got confirmation that it was delivered. Not only was it left outside but it was COMPLETELY melted when brought inside. Juices from the fruit were leaking inside the box. I am now trying to call customer service but of course, no answer. I do not appreciate this and will NEVER order an arrangement from here again. If I could I'd rate it 0 stars. Go to a different one if you can.
My besties got an arrangement for my birthday, and when it got here it looks and IS terrible. The guy who delivered it was in his regular car with the windows down in 97 degree weather, he was sweating, JUST LIKE my arrangement! Looks like my arrangement tumbled over and is melted! On top of that they made sure to deliver it LATE , so Im not even able to call customer service today. Im upset. $110, wasted
I ordered a arrangement to be delivered to my daughters job and that did not happen. It was her birthday and I really wanted it to be a special day for her. The driver was in the right spot but did not get out or did not call to find out exactly where to go. I only received a text that said Delivery attempt unsuccessful. I called the store no answer only got customer service and they did not have any information. I called the next morning no answer from the store only customer service again. This is my first and last time using this service. I should have read the reviews before going with this store or service.
I had ordered the largest "smile" product a couple of days before I wanted it to be delivered. Given I wasn't in the state at the time I trusted them with delivering the product. I called around 11am local time and the representative assured me it was already made and it was just waiting to be delivered. It's literally 10 minutes away but they tried to deliver it at 645 p.m. It was delivered to the recipient who informed me of the details. I contacted corporate by phone and by email with no response. They also stated that the owner/operator of the store would be contacting me but never did. I waited another week before I tried again and still no responses. The fruit looked like it was dropped a few times and was definitely a mixture of overripened and unripe strawberries and pineapple slices aside from the fact it looked like the small version instead of the large one. I've ordered from edible arrangements dozens of times for about the last 20 years in six states and maybe eight cities. This is the only time it was such a horrible experience and for $120 I expected better. Shame on you EA. Don't bother responding with your generic contact information, it's all but a lie.
I placed an order to be delivered for a 30th Anniversary surprise for my spouse. On delivery day, I called to see what time it would be delivered and the phone representative said nonchalantly, "by close of business which is 9:00PM". It's not like the shop was far away ... maybe 8-10 miles from my home! I was appalled! I told him my spouse would have eaten dinner and be fast asleep by that time. He just repeated the policy ... no emotion. As the evening wore on, I repeatedly checked the doors to see if the arrangement had been dropped off without notification. Needless to say, it arrived just a few minutes before 9:00PM as I was cleaning the kitchen from a wonderful meal. The arrangement did not look fresh at all. The bag was sweaty on the inside. The driver was very professional and apologetic, but it cannot change the fact that my spouse missed out on what I thought would be a nice surprise. I don't think I'll be doing any further business with this company. I don't think I would have been upset if they told me I could come by and pick it up myself, but I guess they wanted to keep the delivery fee. At least it would have been fresh and my spouse could have enjoyed it. It's not like I ordered a tool kit or an umbrella from Amazon ... this was an edible arrangement and I really expected better than a 9PM delivery in a sweaty bag. Wow!
A family member purchased us an edible arrangement for the 4th of July holiday. Originally it was supposed to deliver on Friday the 1st, but it didn't. Calling to find out what happened, the associate asked, "what do you want me to do about it". Then, saying they didn't deliver due to the rain and would attempt delivery on Saturday the 2nd; then closed on Sunday and Monday for the 4th. Calling on Tuesday the 5th, they acted like we were crazy for following up, and said the best they could offer for the inconvenience was a balloon on the bouquet and promised they'd remake it fresh; refused to offer a discount. When it got to us, it clearly wasn't fresh, fruit was warm and the inside of the wrapper was sticky and moist. We threw it away because we didn't want to get sick. NO BALLOON either. Awful customer service. Stay away from this location.
This is the most TERRIBLE Edible franchise out of ALL of them. They are the most incompetent group of people I've ever encountered. Today, I went in to pick up an order that I placed. It looked as if a 5 year old designed the arrangement. When I asked for a refund, I was told that I couldn't get one because there was not a manager available to give me one. The manager wouldn't even answer the phone for me. When corporate called to speak with someone in the store, they wouldn't answer for them either. Needless to say, I left the store with no fruit nor a refund.
I placed an order for my wife to surprise her on our anniversary. Their credit card machine wasn’t working and the lady who works there told me I can come tomorrow with cash to pay for it. She told me it would be ready around 11 o’clock. When I showed up the arrangement was not ready and she asked me to wait 15 minutes so she can make it. She said because I did not leave cash she could not prepare it. Why wouldn’t she tell me that when I was at the store?! I did not have time to wait 15 minutes because my wife and I had reservations and we needed to be on time.
