For booking a session call @ 617-584-9891 / info@helenagoessens.com Story I have always been interested in telling a story, and it is through photography that I see a way to express my passion for creating and documenting visual stories. In photography I found the right balance between creativity, the ability to capture emotions, and technical expertise. I am an on-location children and family photographer specialized in lifestyle portraiture. My goal is to capture special moments for you and your family in a fun and relaxed atmosphere through natural light, colors and strong compositions to savor a life time. I prefer to work with natural light whenever is possible for its natural style and beauty, but I also enjoy the flexibility to create and manipulate light through studio strobes. Originally from Mexico by birth and heart, I grew up in Spain and Mexico. I moved to Germany to learn a new language and continue my education as a journalist. I received a master degree from the Wilhelms Universtät of Münster (Germany) in Communications Sciences. But it was not until I completed a certification program in professional photography at the Center of Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University that I was able to pursue my dream and start a photography career. Today I live in Dedham, MA with my wonderful husband and our three amazing boys and I am proudly serving the Boston Metrowest area and surroundings.
