About East Atlanta's most delicious Recording Studio and Venue. Story Located on 4 acres, less than a mile from the East Atlanta Village, The Cottage employs anything but a stale and clinical approach to recording music. We aim to provide a creative environment that fosters your craft. Instead of the typically dark studios with no natural light, The Cottages' blend of 1940’s stone architecture mixed with vintage furniture and walls lined with windows, feels comfortable and laid back... after hours of tracking we find it refreshing to step outside. The surrounding acreage features patio space, a rope swing and portions of the East Atlanta Stone Quarry. Here at the Cottage we keep the process simple, allowing costs to stay low and focus to stay on creativity and productivity. We stay modest. There are no hourly rates; just a day rate. We like to work until the job is done and realize that we cannot always control creativity. We believe in using great gear, providing inspiring space and staying dedicated to your vision.
