About Thai Orchid Restaurant (Salem) Story "A little about us" Since 1992, Thai Orchid Restaurant has served fresh, flavorful, and healthy Thai food in the Portland, Salem and Vancouver area. Owner and Executive Chef Prapapen Saenguraiporn created a menu to offer the finest authentic Thai dishes outside of Bangkok. Prakit Hanidhikul, friend of founder of Thai Orchid Restaurant, is now the owner of the Salem location. He brings his restaurant experience in cooking, serving customers and managing staff in Thailand to manage Thai Orchid Salem.
