About The Mid-East Area Agency on Aging (MEAAA) Senior Centers and the St. Louis Area Agency on Aging (SLAAA) centers serve as community focal points Story The Mid-East Area Agency on Aging (MEAAA) Senior Centers and the St. Louis Area Agency on Aging (SLAAA) centers serve as community focal points for older citizens. Each multi-purpose center offers hot, nutritious congregate meals and delivers Meals on Wheels to eligible homebound seniors. Most centers are open every weekday and offer educational, recreational and health programs, along with Information and Assistance services, telephone reassurance, volunteer opportunities and more. There is no charge for center meals or services, but participants are given the opportunity to support them with contributions.
