Season:
The South Drive-In Theatre is generally open from late April to late September, depending on the movie releases and the weather.  We generally start off the season only open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights until Memorial Day weekend then we  go full time (7 days a week) until school starts, then we will be back down to weekends only.  Then after Labor Day weekend sometimes into October we will close the Drive-In Theatre operation for the season.

Hours of operation:
The hours of operation vary from week to week depending on show times and when sunset is.  Generally the box office will open 1 1/2-2 hours before show time on Friday and Saturday nights, 45 min on Sunday nights, and 30 min on week nights.

Admission Prices:
Adults: $9.50 (12 & over) on Friday and Saturday nights, $7.50 on Sundays-Thursdays except Sunday Memorial Day Eve.
Kids: $1.00 (5-11)
Kids: Free (4 & Under)

Capacity:
We have the capacity to hold over 950 cars in the theatre for the purpose of movie entertainment.  Please do not wait until the last minute to get in, we will not hold show times to accompdate last min arrivals.  The box office allows plenty of time to get in and get settled before show time.

History: 
The South Drive-In Theare opened in 1950 and is still open seasonally today.  
It is the only one left in central Ohio.  In 2005 there were 648 drive in's in the US.  In 2006 the South Drive-In Theatre was Ranked 412 in the US & Canadian Exhibitors Statistics, Only 44 drive in's out ranked us.
