About Bay Area is a full-scope midwifery practice providing care for women across the lifespan. We offer births in our free standing birth center or at AAMC. Story Bay Area Midwifery is a full-scope midwifery practice located in Annapolis, Maryland. We provide care for women throughout the lifespan including annual exams, well woman visits, prenatal care, and births at our two locations. We believe that the best model of care for women and their families include: * A continuous and compassionate partnership * Individualized methods of care and healing * Watchful waiting and non-intervention in normal processes * Acknowledges a persons life experience and knowledge * Care that respects human dignity, individuality, and diversity. Currently, we have 6 Certified Nurse Midwives on staff who attend births at our free standing birth center as well as Anne Arundel Medical Center. We see women throughout their pregnancies as well as provide 24/7 call for deliveries. Medical Collaboration is provided by our physician colleagues at Anne Arundel Medical Center when necessary to provide optimal care to all mothers and babies. "Luminis Health Midwifery is a full-service midwifery practice offering well-woman care, family planning, preconception counseling, and prenatal care to low-risk pregnant women. We are a freestanding birth center located in the Wayson Pavilion at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center."
