Story Biographical Information Richard H. Wilkins, D.O., MPH Medical Director, Raymond RediCare Board Certified in Family Medicine and Occupational / Environmental Medicine Dr. Rick Wilkins is bringing high quality medical care back to Raymond, Maine. Earlier this year, he purchased the prior Key Bank, and with local builder Michael Meyer and his team, transformed the building into a state-of-the-art medical clinic. Wilkins says, "I have to thank many friends in my community for helping to make this happen.” Dr. Rick Wilkins began his medical career managing a solo family practice in NY from 1986-88, after which he joined Mobil Chemical as a Contract Staff Physician, subsequently becoming Asst. Medical Director of Mobil Administrative Services Company in 1991. After the company emerged as ExxonMobil Corporation in 1999 Dr. Wilkins held various regional and global positions in the company until his departure in early 2005, when he left to head Chevron Corp.'s Global Medical Department. Working out of Chevron's company headquarters in San Ramon, CA, Dr. Wilkins oversaw the design and implementation of programs and managed the services that addressed the health and medical needs of the company’s employees, operations and the communities in which Chevron operates around the world. After retiring as General Manager of Health and Medical Services for Chevron Corporation he spent a year working to support the health needs of veterans returning from overseas through his service to Loyola Medical Foundation via his consulting company. He then spent the next 2.5 years with U.S. HealthWorks as the Center Medical Director in Scarborough, Maine. Dr. Wilkins is a Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Occupational and Preventive Medicine and serves on the American Osteopathic Board of Preventive Medicine. He also served as alternate board member of the Private Sector Delegation for The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and was the Vice-President of the Corporate Alliance on Malaria in Africa.
