About Feeding families together through sustainable business. Story Citizen Thrift Shop [previously known as S.T.U.F.F. Thrift] is dedicated to serving the citizens of Mesa and surrounding Phoenix Metro areas! Each month more than 3,000 families are able to receive a supplemental food box out of our single location, which houses Citizen Thrift & Manna Food Bank. With the food bank growing at such a rapid pace over the last few years there has not been the necessary attention paid to the thrift store and this has led to an interesting fork in the road. If Citizen Thrift doesn't double it's revenue from 2014 then it is likely that we simply won't be able to afford necessary expenses which allow us to feed families. The previous sentence is not asking you to pay salaries; none of the directors are paid staff. There are five paid positions in the entire operation, four of which were promoted from volunteer to employee.
