Story The City Club of Buckhead Athletic Club & Spa offers manicures, pedicures, massages and skin care. In addition to staying in tip-top condition, members have the opportunity to indulge in spa services when they visit. City Club features therapeutic and prenatal massage as well as reflexology. A full range of facials and body treatments is available including the indulgent Lemon Sugar Body Treatment, and Age-Defying Salt Glow, among others. Soothing tones of cool sage greens, slate blues and cocoa browns welcome clients to the facility. Bamboo floors, marble countertops and rooms with warm wood fixtures intensify the atmosphere of a spa getaway in the heart of the city. Complimentary towel service is provided and clients are also offered the opportunity to reserve a permanent locker, which includes daily laundry service. The Group Fitness room, which features a springy wooden floor suspended over padding hidden underneath, offers step classes, body sculpting, abs and core classes, Pilates and yoga. The Spin room is filled with stationary bikes and high-energy music for a heart-pounding, exhilarating workout. Pilates reformers are also available for individual and small group classes. Professional personal trainers are on staff to offer advice and develop training programs specifically tailored to member’s fitness goals. The main cardio and weight room is outfitted with all modern, top of the line machines such as stair climbers, treadmills, and elliptical trainers, as well as a full spectrum of free weights and resistance training equipment. A serene aquatic atmosphere beckons visitors to the three-lane pool for lap swimming, relaxation or hydrotherapy. In the pool, American Red Cross swimming lessons are offered for all ages. Members enjoy luxurious locker rooms fitted with wooden lockers and beautiful fixtures. Adjoining cozy lounges with sofas and plasma screen televisions are nearby for pre and post-workout relaxing. Locker rooms also feature tile and marble steam rooms, saunas and showers. The City Club Athletic Club & Spa offers a complete spa and workout retreat, right in the heart of bustling Buckhead Club hours are Monday-Thursday 5:30am to 9pm, Friday 5:30am to 8pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm.
