About KC Clay Guild is a not for profit community ceramics studio. We offer reasonably priced classes for students of any ability level or age. Story KCCG is a not for profit community ceramics studio in the heart of Waldo neighborhood in Kansas City. We are one block east of Wornall on 74th Street. Started in the winter of 1988, KC Clay Guild has grown from a small group of potters wanting to share information and materials into a thriving ceramics center. KCCG offers adult and childrens classes in handbuilding and wheel-throwing for any ability level or age. Mission KC Clay Guild is a nonprofit ceramic arts center. KCCG offers classes for all skill levels, open pottery studios, workshops and an artist in residence program. We are open to every member of the Kansas City community.
