"Carrig Montessori School opened in 2009 as the first school in Williamsburg, Brooklyn to devote itself completely to the Montessori philosophy. Family owned and operated, our school began as one classroom in an apartment before taking root in our permanent location at 100 Maspeth Avenue, located directly across from Cooper Park. Our school has grown organically to now serve 40 children and families.Our bonds with parents and children have been long-lasting, and we have seen the success of our efforts in the kindness of character and joyful approach to learning that our students carry with them throughout their higher education."
