Story L'Alliance Française de Milwaukee is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote, share and enjoy the culture, language and friendship of the French-speaking world. Mission The mission of the Alliance Française de Milwaukee is to promote, share, and enjoy the culture, language, and friendship of the French-speaking world. Products As an Alliance Française de Milwaukee member or student, you have the opportunity to share a love of the French language, culture, art, and history as you join with other members of your community to see a French theater performance or film, listen to a renowned lecturer, enjoy regional French cuisine, and study those verbs! Students are strongly encouraged to become members of the Alliance Française de Milwaukee, as it instills one with a sense of belonging, commitment, and pride. Learning a foreign language, as well as learning about those who speak it, are invaluable ways for us to gain interest in, respect for, and understanding of other world cultures. The Alliance Française offers a variety of French language courses ranging from Beginner to Advanced Conversation. All courses are taught by native French speakers or those with near-native ability. We also offer short courses on topics ranging from travel and literature to French cuisine.
