About Shaye Hudson is compassionate, intuitive and empathetic Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist offering services to individuals, couples, and groups. Story Shaye received his Master's degree in Psychology from the University of West Georgia. While at West Georgia, he pursued an academic emphasis in Professional Counseling, Clinical Hypnotherapy and Transpersonal (Spiritual) Psychology. He is currently a reviewer for the Journal of Exceptional Experiences and Psychology, an academic journal that explores mystical and spiritual experiences. Shaye is a Certified Hypnotherapist through the International Hypnosis Federation (IHF) and a Certified Reiki Master (CRM). He is a compassionate, intuitive and empathetic Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist with a warm therapeutic style and a deep sense of connection to other people. Shaye embraces a holistic view of human psychology that includes the physical, mental, emotional, relational and spiritual. Rather than just viewing psychology from the perspective of mental health or illness, he embraces a transpersonal view of psychology that examines psychological experience along with the vast range of human spiritual phenomena that include mystical or religious experiences, intuition, different states of consciousness, creativity, and contemplative practice. Shaye's intention is to empower you by helping you access your own inner resources of strength, creativity, insight, and healing. He believes everyone has a unique relationship with their body, mind, spirit and emotions, and will tailor a specific plan to address your particular areas for healing, growth, and transformation. Shaye takes a collaborative approach, seeing himself as an ally and will partner with you in visualizing and achieving the goals that you want for your life. Clinical/Transpersonal Hypnotherapy Services: Pain control, weight loss, sleep issues, smoking cessation, stress reduction, grief/loss, addictions, athletic performance, physical healing/recovery, emotional healing, meditation instruction, mindfulness, intuition development, past life regression, chakra balancing/energy healing and other clinical and spiritual topics. Psychotherapy Services: Provides individual, couples, family and group therapy. Shaye works with a wide range of presenting concerns: anxiety, depression, relationships, grief and loss, substance abuse, addictions, crisis and trauma, vocational issues, adjustment to major life changes, and existential, spiritual and religious issues. Energy Healing: Reiki is an energy healing modality that facilitates the removal of energetic barriers to complete healing and well-being. It is a relaxing treatment using natural healing vibrations are transmitted through the hands of a Reiki practitioner (acting as a conduit) to the body of the recipient. The purpose of a Reiki treatment is to relieve stress and pain, induce relaxation, release emotional and energetic blockages, accelerate natural healing, and balance subtle bodies energies. This healing method works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
