Story Doug’s Shoot’n Sports was started by Doug Larsen in 1974, and in 1984 became the first establishment in Utah to combine a gun store and shooting range. Though Doug has retired and his son Dave takes care of the store, the early traditions Doug created—selling guns as if they were our own, and treating our customers as good friends—are still employed today. Our Indoor shooting range has 12 individual lanes; each with its own target system. Targets can be placed out to 25 yards. On the shooting range we allow handgun calibers and .22 caliber rifles.The cost is $10 per shooter which includes targets and the use of eye and ear protection."Doug's Shoot'n Sports has been serving the Greater Salt Lake area for several decades.
