About We are a full service animal hospital. Please visit our website for our list of services for what you might need. Story North Durham Animal Hospital will be opening on January 2, 2015 to provide small animal services. Dr. Douglas S. Dawson is the hospital owner and the veterinarian on staff. If you have questions about your pet, please call (713) 863-PETS and he will come immediately to the phone or call you back shortly. For convenience, we take appointments beginning at 7am and we welcome drop-offs anytime. Dr. Dawson graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinarian Medicine in 1984 and has been in small animal practice in Houston ever since. Stop by and say Hello! North Durham Animal Hospital prefers appointment times versus walk-ins. All walk-ins are to now be dropped off for treatment of any kind! We appreciate your patience as we continue to grow and bond as a practice!
