About Chef Hong Thaimee brings True Thai flavors to 3 Manhattan restaurants. Thaimee Table, formerly known as Ngam, was launched in 2011. Story Thaimee Table - formerly known as Ngam - is Chef Hong Thaimee's first restaurant. Chef Hong cooks True Thai food. Born and raised in Chiangmai, Thailand, she came to New York and trained under Chef Jean-Georges before opening her first restaurant in 2011. Currently Chef Hong operates three restaurants in Manhattan, all serving Thai cuisine inspired by her grandmother and cooked with love. Thaimee Table offers modern Thai comfort food and a full bar.
