He went on to complete both a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Elmhurst Hospital Center, New York. His clinical interests include asthma, COPD, and general internal medicine. Dr.Plokamakis has received The Patients’ Choice Award (2010 – 2012), the Compassionate Doctor Recognition (2010 – 2012), and the Top Ten Doctors award (2012), all from Vitals.
