About Laru Ni Hati was started in 1990 with the goal of providing high quality hair art, fine value products, and excellent service. Story There we were in Livingston, Guatemala without a car, nor a local to guide us. Fortunately for us, a fisherman stopped and asked us to help him fix his boat's engine. He became our guide, showing us where to find fresh baked coconut biscuits on the beach, a seven-tiered waterfall reachable only by foot, and a café in the rainforest. This kind soul also, unbeknownst at the time, gave us the name of our salon and café: 'Laru Ni Hati'. In his native language, Garifuna, this means 'Clear Blue Sky'.
