About Springdale House and Gardens is located 6 miles from the State Capital in Columbia, SC. Easy access from I-26 & I-20 and located minutes form Columbia Metropolitan Airport. Story The Springdale House & Gardens Mansion is a magnificently restored 80 year old Greek revival. The main floor of the mansion has four large public areas including the grand dining room, the ballroom, the sun porch gallery and the staircase foyer. The north and south piazzas are easily accessible from the main floor. The upstairs area includes a groom’s room , as well as, a lovely bridal suit. The Garden House pavilion has a large open room with surround sound, dance floor area, bar facility, restrooms and a covered piazza. The “Charleston” style gardens consist of lush plantings and beautiful low country lawns that will easily accommodate 400 or more guests. **Due do events and consultations we do not keep set office hours.
