About Rocker Head Salon Creative haircuts covering a wide range of styles. Unique and creative hair coloring. More than thirty years of experience. Story Cathy Blair opened the doors of her first salon in1978 and then moved her business to Rocker Head hair salon around Oct. 1987. After returning from a trip to California, she wanted to open a salon in Philadelphia that was down to earth and fun. Having owned two prior business,s she knew where she wanted to go with this one.Keeping up with the new trends was important. To have skilled stylists that were willing to listen to the client was all to rare and number one on her list of many things that would round out Rocker Head. Our clients come from many different backgrounds and therefore require styles to accommodate their lifestyles.After thirty five plus years in business we are where we want to be! Cathy Blair is a licensed Barber and a licensed Cosmetologist with 35 years of specialty training in advanced cutting and coloring.
