"Our CFBank branch in Columbus is located on U.S. 23, less than a mile from Interstate 270 The Outerbelt in Worthington. Just ten miles from downtown Columbus, the land that is now Worthington was surveyed and laid out by James Kilbourne in 1803. That same year, the village was officially named after Thomas Worthington, one of Ohio’s first two senators. Kilbourne went on to serve as a clergyman, local politician, and member of the United States House of Representatives. Kilbourne was among the village leaders who petitioned for the “Columbus-Sandusky Turnpike,” also known as U.S. 23, which goes from Jacksonville, Florida to Mackinaw City, Michigan, and nearly cuts Ohio in half going north and south."
