Mission Dr. Maryanne Butler is a periodontist specializing in periodontal disease, oral medicine, and dental implants. As a specialist in these areas, Dr. Butler has received extensive training including three years of additional education beyond dental school and two additional degrees. Dr. Butler utilizes state of the art periodontal and dental implant therapy techniques. Dr. Amy M. Riffel is a periodontist specializing in periodontal disease and dental implants. Dr. Riffel grew up in Burlington, Iowa. She completed her Bachelor of Business Administration and pre-dental course work at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. Dr. Riffel received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Iowa. Immediately following dental school, Dr. Riffel completed a general practice residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics with an emphasis in comprehensive dental treatment as well as advanced training in oral surgery and anesthesiology. Then, Dr. Riffel completed her Periodontics certificate and Masters of Science with specialty in Oral Medicine at the University of Iowa. Dr. Riffel is a Diplomate of the Board of Periodontology since 2013.
