About Located at The Wharf in Washington DC, we've been providing our loyal customers with the largest selection of fresh seafood since 1939. Story Family-owned and -operated for nearly eight decades, Jessie Taylor Seafood has been setting the bar for seafood at D.C.'s Wharf since 1939. Set in the historic fishmonger area, we run our seafood market the old-school way, selling everything right off the ice and right into our customers' hands. We're known for our Chesapeake Bay Blue Crabs, but our seafood variety boasts the largest on the Wharf with raw and steamed options that range from flounders to scallops to lobsters. Though The Wharf Project has made some new updates and improvements to the area, we're still in the same spot serving the same famously fresh seafood.
