About Learning is a joy at the Children's Museum of Phoenix with three floors of hands-on, interactive, educational, and fun exhibits for children ages birth-10. Story Acting on the principle that learning is a joy, the Children’s Museum of Phoenix’s mission is to engage the minds, muscles and imaginations of children and the grown-ups who care about them. With hands-on, interactive exhibits designed for children ages birth to 10, the Museum focuses on learning through play, with emphasis on early childhood education and school-readiness. The Museum is open 9am to 4pm Tuesday through Sunday, and is open on Mondays during March, June and July. It is also open on major holidays (excluding New Year’s Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day).
