About Bringing happy and healthy smiles to the Mid-Valley since 1987! We specialize in auto injury, chronic and occupational pain, peri and postnatal care, pediatrics and sports medicine. Our team of experienced doctors will help YOU return to function! Story Mid-Valley Chiropractic LLP was founded in 1987 as Mid Valley Chiropractic Clinic, by Dr. David Aptecker and his wife as an all inclusive family clinic. The needs of our patients have always been first, and we are proud today to continue that legacy. Dr. Marisa Aptecker graduated with a BS in Human Biology from the University of Western States in 2013, and received her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2015, also from the prestigious University of Western States. She practiced for one year in downtown Portland, working with the underserved community and urban homeless youth populations. She began working at Mid-Valley Chiropractic LLP in 2015 and specializes in auto injury, chronic pain, peri and postnatal management and pediatrics. In her free time she enjoys hiking, exploring the outdoors, painting and recreational distance running. Dr. Gabriel Wilson also graduated with a BS in Human Biology from the University of Western States in 2014. He completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2016 at the University of Western States. Dr. Wilson practiced at four area clinics around the Portland metro, gaining diverse and important insight into the needs of different patient populations. Dr. Wilson's passions include chronic and occupational pain management with a focus on pain from manual and work related labor. His goal is to be able to help as many people as possible avoid work-related pain, and to restore to health those that suffer from work-related pain. In his free time Dr. Wilson enjoys hiking, reading and surfing the chilly Oregon Coast. "A spacious, upscale and modern Chiropractic Office, now located in the Historic Monteith neighborhood, offering family care with specialties including; Motor Vehicle Injury, Lifestyle/Occupational Pain, Pregnancy and Children. Features include male and female providers, a strong Evidence-Informed ethos, generous one on one patient encounters, with an average patient visit up to an industry leading 30 minutes. Both providers have completed additional advanced training in working with pregnancy and pediatric populations. Established locally in 1987."
