About Founded in 1960, TI provides high-quality, low-fee therapy to New Yorkers. Our therapists are licensed mental health professionals pursuing post-graduate training. Story TI provides high-quality, low-fee therapy to New Yorkers. Our therapists are licensed mental health professionals who are enrolled in our of our post-graduate training programs in either psychoanalysis, group therapy, or couples therapy. TI offers a variety of continuing education workshops to social workers, psychologist, psychiatrists, and other professionals. TI also provides community education programs. Mission TI strives to train a talented group of psychotherapists and psychoanalysts who employ a multi-theoretical approach to treating their patients. It is our belief that all people who want to participate in psychotherapy should have the opportunity to be treated by highly skilled practitioners, regardless of ability to pay.
