My client came to me with this situation. He, his wife, two grown daughters and a two-year-old grandchild were living in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath 700+ square foot home. His wife did dialysis at home. She did dialysis in the living room and the baby had pulled out her dialysis bloodline during dialysis and blood was everywhere. He was also driving a 50+ mile commute each way for the past 20 years. He is an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. He wanted to sell his home and buy a larger home for his family. The problem was not very much equity in his current home. We got his home sold and got him into a home that was 3 times larger than his current home. His wife now has a private room to dialyze and each of his children have their own room.
