Story Mahasiddha is a member of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU). Kadampa Buddhism is a Mahayana Buddhist school founded by the great Indian Buddhist Master Atisha (982-1054). His followers, known as Kadampas, integrate all of Buddha’s teachings into their meditation practice and use this wisdom and compassion to transform daily activities into the path to enlightenment. Mission Mahasiddha Kadampa Buddhist Center exists to support the spiritual development of everyone in Portland and elsewhere in Oregon.
