Story When owners Kimberly and Katherine Corp opened Pilates on Fifth in 2000, they knew they wanted to create a Pilates studio that offered clients the very best possible Pilates experience. Today, as the largest Pilates studio in New York City, Pilates on Fifth offers unparalleled programming options from traditional Pilates mat and reformer classes, to CoreAlign, and our signature SilkSuspension and Cardiolates. Mission The Corp sisters wanted everything about Pilates on Fifth--from the instructors to the equipment to the studio space itself--to be superior. Pilates on Fifth’s sunny, inviting atmosphere provides the perfect setting for you to focus on your unique fitness needs and goals. Products Our spacious 7,000 square foot studio features spectacular skylights, top of the line Pilates equipment, as well as new, cutting-edge systems of exercise, CoreAlign® and Pilates Ring Training, to deliver a unique combination of strength and conditioning that you can’t get anywhere else in New York City! Pilates on Fifth also hosts two physical therapists and a massage therapist on premises and metabolic and body fat testing, all you need to let Pilates on Fifth pamper and inspire YOU to better health. Our facility is equipped with dressing rooms and showers for your comfort. We have services to accommodate all ages, fitness levels and budgets: Privates and Duets on state of the art equipment Group Equipment Classes (Reformer, CoreAlign®, or Pilates Ring Training!) Pilates, CARDIOLATES® and Barre classes Massage and Physical Therapy Each workout can be as invigorating or as gentle as you desire, so whether you are recovering from an injury or cross-training for sports or dance, we can help you reach your goals. Our talented team of instructors successfully trains athletes, dancers and performers, but is equally adept at training as well as pregnant clients, clients recovering from injuries, senior citizens and cancer survivors. All of our instructors have extensive knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics, which enables them to customize workouts to accommodate your specific needs and objectives.
