About Teaching the Houston community TaeKwonDo since 1993 Story Welcome to Kim’s School of TaeKwonDo! We have served the Bellaire, Meyerland, and Central/Southwest Houston area for almost 20 years. We believe in not only teaching TaeKwonDo at a high level, but are committed to martial arts as a path to becoming a better person at any age. We are a family school, not just in the ownership, but in philosophy. Following the example of our founder, 8th degree Grand Master Kim, we see the school and all students as a family in itself. We believe in encouragement, holding to expectations, and responsibility to each other. TaeKwonDo meets you at whatever ability, age, and physical condition you are in and builds from there. We have classes for children, teens, adults, and special family classes for parents and children to have the unique opportunity to train together. We strive to instill the core values of TaeKwonDo in each of our students. These tenets are Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit. The tenets of TaeKwonDo are a guide for how each of our students treat each other and how they overcome adversity inside Kim’s School of TaeKwonDo and out.
