About We are New Hampshire's premier Doula group. We provide services in NH and Northern Mass. with a group of women working together to provide amazing support. Story At Nini Bambini, we offer Doula services as part of our Wellness Team. We have Birth Doulas and Postpartum Doulas. Our Doulas not only undergo a comprehensive training, but are encouraged to continue learning as birth professionals. A Birth Doula is someone who offers physical, emotional, and educational support through the prenatal and birth period. Some of the services our Birth Doulas may provide are a Birth Story including pictures, Placenta Encapsulation Resources, Hypnotherapy, Optimal Fetal Positioning, Accupressure, Lactation Support and Aromatherapy with the use of Essential Oils. Nini Bambini Birth Doulas create a calm, positive and safe environment for a birthing woman and her partner; we offer suggestions for relaxation, positioning and breathing while giving constant reassurance and encouragement. We have experience with births in hospitals, birthing centers, and home births. A Postpartum Doula is someone who offers physical, emotional and educational support for the first few weeks after birth. The postpartum Doula is available to come to your family's home and help take care of the new baby or a sibling, help with meal prep, offer fact-based advice on caring for a newborn and reliable, safe care when Mom needs some rest. With great relationships with local providers, we work as part of your birth/postpartum team. We do not let an agenda stand in the way of your care. Nina Webb Cullen, MA, CD, CCE Biography will be available soon. Amy Menec, CD, CLC Amy is a mom to a beautiful girl who sparked her interest in supporting laboring women. After her own birth and having the support of her mother, she realized that not everyone has that. She is a certified Certified Hypnotherapist. She believes in using relaxation as a tool for birth. She is also a Certified Lactation Counselor and skilled in Optimal Fetal Positioning. Amy has attended over 100 births and knows that each one has taught her something new. "It's an honor to support families in their experience of becoming or adding to their families." Trisha Coughlin, CD Birth doula - CD(DONA) and NIni Bambini 5 children ranging in ages from 10-25. Lives in Westford, MA. She goes to all the hospitals in NH and down to Boston. Trisha recently took a "Spinning Babies" workshop to learn more about Optimal Fetal Positioning. She uses Acupressure and Aromatherapy during labor and birth. "On a personal note -- I love -- spending time with my family -- the ocean -- traveling -- a good book -- health and nutrition -- photography." Felicia Flibotte, CD Certified Doula with Nini Bambini. Her own pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experiences ignited a passion within her to educate, walk alongside, and serve women and families in this beautiful, challenging, and life-changing time. In February 2016, she began the journey of helping women navigate through the many variables of welcoming a child to their family. She supports every client’s unique choices, and believes in trusting your body, and being open to the unpredictability of birth. She is experienced with high risk pregnancies, un-medicated birth, inductions, scheduled cesarean, VBAC births, pregnancy loss, breastfeeding, feeding difficulties, baby wearing, medically fragile infants/children, and aromatherapy. Her and her husband Steve, reside in Chester with their four children, ages 18mo, 3, 12, and 14. "Spending time with my loved ones, photography, and cheering my children on with their love of sports, are just a few of my favorite pastimes." Karlene Clair, CD, CLC Karlene lives in Amherst, New Hampshire with her family. She has two stepdaughters, 13 and 15, and two sons, an almost 2-year-old and a 9-year-old. Some of the services she offers during and after labor are: mindful breathing, aromatherapy, Optimal Fetal Positioning with the knowledge from a “Spinning Babies” workshop, guided relaxation, Lactation support as she is a Certified Lactation Counselor, childbirth education, and postpartum doula support as well. As a Doula at Nini Bambini, she states she loves when she has the opportunity to “Mother the Mother” with unconditional love, kindness, and acceptance. She also works at the store at Nini Bambini, and runs some of the groups there, which includes a Nursing Mom’s group. “Some of my favorite things to do is fishing with my son, water sports in the summer with my family, reading, and continuous effort to further my education to better serve families.” Jaima Wilder, CD Jaima lives in Hollis, she is a mother of four children, two busy boys and two sweet girls, ranging in age from 3 to 12 years old. She started her journey to be a doula in July of 2016 but has had a love for the beauty of birth and postpartum for over a decade. Most of her experience comes from being a stay at home mom and homeschooling for the last eight years. She also teaches a class at her coop group of kids ranging from 3-6 yrs old and has provided care at the nursery at her church for over 13 years. The services she offers are Labor and Delivery Doula and Postpartum care. She loves caring for people! She will be taking the lactation course to be certified in the spring of 2017. Elisabeth Williams, RN, CD Elisabeth Williams has been a doula for two years. She is passionate about helping women transition into motherhood. Having interviewed mothers of all ages, she understands how pivotal the time surrounding birth and the mother's view of that time can affect a woman, even decades later. She is also a registered nurse. Her long-term goal is to become a midwife, but without losing the personal relationship with families that a doula has.
