No experience necessary. Everyone is welcome! CLASSES IN CENTER CITY: CENTER CITY GENERAL PROGRAM Thursdays 7-8:30pm This class is taught by Gen Tenzin. $10 Experience inner peace, improve mindfulness, and discover real happiness. WEDNESDAY MORNING FREE MEDITATIONS Wednesdays, 8-8:30am With Meditation Teachers John Baker and Eve Miller No cost. Each Wednesday morning we meditate on one of the twenty-one meditations of the Lamrim, or "Stages of the Path". These are the traditional Buddhist meditations that lead to enlightenment. Everyone is welcome to drop in any morning, and no meditation experience is necessary. MONDAY EVENING MEDITATION Mondays 7:00-8:00pm This class is taught by Meditation Teacher Anup Bogineni. $10 Experience inner peace, improve mindfulness, and discover real happiness. SUNDAY MORNING MEDITATION Sundays 10:30-11:45am This class is taught by Gen Tenzin. $10 Everyone wishes to be happy all the time, but we cannot achieve this goal unless we attain lasting inner peace. In this class we will learn basic meditation techniques and Buddhist advice that can help us to become happy and peaceful from within. Each class includes a guided meditation and a teaching on a Buddhist topic. BRANCH CLASSES: SOUTH JERSEY Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00pm $10 Collingswood Community Center, in the Living Room (30 Collings Avenue) This class is taught by Gen Tenzin. Sundays, 1:00-2:00pm $10 Collingswood Community Center, in the Living Room (30 Collings Avenue) This class is taught by Meditation Teacher John Baker. Mission Living a stress-free and meaningful life has never been closer to your fingertips. Meditation is a method to acquaint our mind with causes of happiness. You do not have to be a Buddhist or a member of the center to attend classes. Everyone is welcome. Amitayus Kadampa Buddhist Center, holding classes throughout Philadelphia, was founded on the knowledge that it is possible for everyone to cultivate positive states of mind that will lead to calmness and inner peace.
