About Sensei Long is both a Team USA gold medalist and a certified behavioral coach so he can train both the mind and body of the students in his classes. Story While our students learn fighting and self-defense, they also learn lessons of respect, like the importance of shaking hands and eye contact. Sensei Long is a Team USA gold medalist with decades of experience, and he’s also certified to coach students with behavioral and learning disorders. By combining these disciplines, Sensei Long is able to help each pupil build strong personal character and a strong body to match it. Our karate academy is a place to train, to become a role model, and to have a great time because, to us, karate isn’t just a sport -- it’s a lifestyle.
