About The Backline is the Omaha destination for live comedy shows. Story The Backline is the Omaha destination for live comedy shows. Stand-up, improv, sketch shows -- we have them all. While we have comedy forms for every taste, we’re best known for our long-form improv. Twice a month, we even have both of our house Harold teams perform together. Our club also hosts a variety of local comedians and groups, all ready to put on a show with lots of laughs. Inspired by the shows you’ve watched? Good thing we offer classes to teach you the skills and techniques you’ve seen on stage. That’s right, we have courses from beginner to advanced so you can live out your performance dreams.
