About Our Mission is to contribute to the health of the community by providing the best quality Chiropractic care at the most affordable price. Story Meet Dr. D. Shawn Parish Dr. Parish is a native of Louisiana and received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2003 from Parker University, formerly Parker College of Chiropractic, Dallas, TX. He completed his internship at the Parker Chiropractic Wellness Clinic-Dallas. In addition, Dr. Parish holds Bachelor of Science Degrees in Anatomy, and Medical Technology. He is board certified by The National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, licensed by the Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Certified for Therapeutic Modalities, Physiotherapy, and is an active member of the Georgia Chiropractic Association. He holds a Proficiency Rating in Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique and is a Certified Sacro-Occipital Technique Practitioner. In practice, he incorporates Diversified, Thompson, Activator, and Upper Cervical chiropractic techniques on a case specific basis. His practice interests include sports medicine, physical medicine & rehabilitation, improving health, achieving wellness, and clinical nutrition. He is a former NCAA Football, Division I student-athlete and letterman. His hobbies include triathlons, adventure racing, tennis, golf, hiking, and camping with his family. Dr. Parish is the proud father of three sons, Patrick, Preston, and Corey.
