About Our mission is to provide a safe, structured environment for dogs to play and socialize Story A TYPICAL DAY AT RUBY'S: The doors for daycare open up at 7:15am, and everyone comes in ready to play! The dogs run and wrestle and form friendships as our caring and attentive staff supervises play and provides plenty of affection. There’s bones to chew and balls to chase and lots of treats to eat. At 11am naptime begins, and all of the dogs, tired from a morning of fun, go into a crate or a pen with a snack to rebuild some energy. While the dogs sleep, our staff can take their own breaks, and tend to chores around the daycare. At 1pm the dogs are let out, and continue to play until they go home calm and relaxed and eager to spend a nice, quiet evening with the family. Ruby’s is dedicated to the safety and well-being of our daycare dogs. We therefore us a positive, dog-friendly system of behavior management. By reinforcing good behaviors and proper social etiquette, we make sure that the dogs here are as safe, happy and well-behaved as possible. In addition to daycare, we also over playdates and socialization sessions. Playdates are exactly what they sound like; you come in with your dog and they get to play with other dogs for up to an hour. Socialization Sessions are for dogs who need a little extra help with dog-to-dog social interaction, and they are designed to meet each individual’s needs. They are highly reccomended for puppies who are shy or fearful, and need those structured, positive experiences with other dogs that are so crucial to their social development. All dogs must pass an evaluation before attending daycare. Evaluations, playdates and social sessions are held Monday through Friday, between the hours of 11am and 1pm. Please call ahead to schedule appointments, but feel free to drop by anytime we are open to check out our facility!
