About We host a variety of dance classes including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Acro, Contemporary, & Lyrical ages 3- 103 located in the Manoa Japanese Language School. Story Dance is not just about learning steps and counts, it is about developing and creating the tools to help our little ones grow into healthy functional adults. In the dance studio, you will find a safe place to practice and develop the skills necessary to be a responsible active individual. Developing and honing in on skills to help prepare them for the world that they are soon to experience. At Manoa Dance Studio, we go beyond the dance steps and to explore behaviors and traits to prepare our youth to excel in this fast paced changing world we live in. We feel that all the tools in the studio such as, discipline, honesty, communication, team work, hard work, dedication, commitment, follow through, respect for ones self, ones body, fellow class mates and authority can and should be translated over into their every day lives, helping them excel at what ever is placed before them be it school, at a job interview, audition or in the work place.
