Murphy, Senior Pastor 7th-Day Apostolic Story Leading Commandment Church of God, Incorporated (Its Identity Revealed) The Leading Commandment Church of God, Incorporated is an Independent, Seventh-Day, Pentecostal, Apostolic Church. Independent, because it is not a member of any established ecclesiastical organization. Seventh-Day, because its members observe and keep holy the biblically required Seventh-Day Sabbath from sundown on Friday until sundown on Saturday. They also observe and keep the scripturally outlined Feast/Holy Days. (Matthew 19:17) Pentecostal, because its members receive the Bible mandated Gift of the Holy Ghost evidenced by speaking in tongues. (Acts 2:4) Apostolic, because its members follow the teachings of the 12 Apostles who learned directly from Jesus Christ that true believers must observe and keep the Seventh-Day Sabbath, they must be baptized in water in Jesus’ Name, and they must be recipients of the Gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. (Acts 2:38) Following the salvation experience, a consistent Christian Lifestyle must be practiced daily. (Philippians 1:27) Mission To enhance the overall Spirituality and Professionalism of the Leading Commandment Church of God, Incorporated (LCC); to develop a Saintly and Church-Going Culture among LCC's parishioners; to present outreach programs that will foster its membership growth; and to operate in compliance with all Local and Federal Laws that are non-contradictory to its religious beliefs. Achievement will be through teaching, promoting, and demonstrating Biblical Doctrine as Christian Kingdom Principles and through acquisition and application of information pertaining to Local and Federal Policies. Success will be measured by apparent manifestation among the congregation and freedom from bureaucratic penalty.
