About The Church of St. Andrew & St. Margaret is a vibrant, growing, traditional Anglican parish within the Anglican Catholic Church located just outside our nation's capitol in the heart of Northern Virginia. Story Saint Andrew and Saint Margaret of Scotland is a friendly, diverse, inter-generational, and thriving parish in Alexandria, Virginia that draws its members from all over the northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC. area. We have an extremely active calendar that offers many opportunities for study, ministry, and participation in annual fellowship and local events for the entire family. The central core of our community is worship and fellowship. We offer a choice of three different services each Sunday that will be familiar to both those of Anglican backgrounds and those who have joined us from other Christian denominations. A lively coffee hour follows both the 9:00am and 11:15am services. St. Andrew and St. Margaret of Scotland is in the Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic States and part of the worldwide Anglican Catholic Church, which represents an unbroken and steadfast faithfulness to the ancient English Church that was established in 597 AD. Our services are conducted according to the time-honored 1928 Book of Common Prayer, Anglican Missal, the 1940 Hymnal, as well as highlights the majestic language of the King James translation of the Holy Bible.
