About Serving craft coffee and espresso drinks in Des Moines' East Village. Located at 505 East Grand with RAYGUN and Thelma's Treats. Story In March of 2015 Mars Coffee Bar (a spin off of Mars Cafe on University) established itself in the Raygun building and sharing space with Thelma's Treats. The Mars Coffee Bar focuses on Specialty Coffee techniques. Our supplier, Kickapoo Coffee, brings Organic, Single Origin and signature blend coffees which are roasted with care and lightly to promote the tasting profile of their precious beans. We use advanced technology and equipment including drip, pour over, toddy and espresso to custom make cups precisely crafted quality coffees and believe you can taste the difference.
